
When it comes to strength training, bodyweight exercises have no equal. Although often overlooked, push-ups are a great way to build upper body strength. Once you have mastered basic push-ups (can do at least 50 perfect basic push-ups) it is time to attempt some new varieties. To really challenge yourself, slowly elevate your feet during push-ups. As you grow stronger, continue to increase the elevation of your legs until you are upside down against a wall. Master handstand push-ups and you are approaching a level of strength of an elite group comprised of the best athletes in the world.
