Kettlebell windmills strengthen your shoulders and obliques. This exercise prevents shoulder injuries by constantly requiring you to stabilize the kettlebell throughout the movement, thereby strengthening the shoulder joint and increasing shoulder flexibility. If you do not have a kettlebell use a dumbbell. Start with a small kettlebell or dumbbell to learn the technique and gain flexibility before you move up to a larger kettlebell.
