Exercise Instructional Video – Mike Rowes ’s Prison Workout with Jumping Burpees

Everyone knows Mike Rowe from his hit show Dirty Jobs and narrating various Discovery shows like Deadliest Catch.
You only need one full bodyweight exercise to increase strength and tone your body. In this video, Mike describes what he learned from a guy in prison to keep him in great shape without any workout equipment. The exercise is known as burpees or up-downs. The jumping burpee variation includes squating down, performing a pushup, and completing the rep with a two leg vertical jump while standing up. This exercise is very simple to master and very effective.
Burpee Workout Repetitions
10 burpees followed by 60 seconds rest
9 burpees followed by 60 seconds rest
8 burpees followed by 60 seconds rest
(continue the same pattern until you reach 1 repetition)
